Kymberley Skillen

Kymberley commenced her involvement in the criminal justice system with Corrections Victoria in the Community Corrections section in 2008 and held various positions as a case manager in the court and parole stream for a period of 10 years.

Kymberley’s passion in the criminal justice system commenced with assisting clients to achieve their rehabilitation and treatment needs within the community sector in order to enhance their current skill set to reduce their risk of re-offending. This passion transpired into further study of Law in order to achieve fair and just results for clients presenting before the courts.

Kymberley joined the JDA family in February 2019 after admission into the legal profession, commencing at our Frankston office. Kymberley moved to our Dandenong office in 2020.

Kymberley regularly appears in the Magistrates Courts in a range of summary and indictable matters. She also instructs counsel and assists in the preparation of County Court matters.
