Ben was admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business at Deakin University and obtaining his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

Ben was awarded the Dean of Law’s Award for Excellence having been recognised for overall high performance at the Deakin Law School.  Ben regularly appears on behalf of his clients on a range of criminal matters in the Children’s Court, Magistrates’ Court and County Court. 

He has experience in a variety of matters (summary and indictable) including driving offences, assaults, family violence, intervention orders, drug related offences, dishonesty offences, bail applications, appeals against sentence and conviction and more. 

He also has experience in matters arising under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act, Serious Sex Offenders (Detention and Supervision) Act, Assessment and Referral Court and Drug and Alcohol Treatment Court.

He also instructs Counsel and assists in the preparation and running of complex criminal matters in both the County Court and Supreme Court.

Ben is a driven and passionate advocate, committed to providing his clients with both his time and his experience.
